"Mistakes are the portals of discovery."
When you dare to dream big, and you are passionate about turning your dreams into reality, you are likely going to make several mistakes along the way. Mistakes are not to be feared! As mentioned Monday, perseverance is the most important objective in seeing things through. Remember, children are wonderfully perseverant!
James Joyce, playwright and poet, knew to embrace mistakes. They provide a different viewpoint than before, and very often lead to amazing discoveries. Mistakes cause you to ask the most important question, "Why?"
Don't be afraid to make mistakes. Embrace them! They are the building blocks of discovery. Every child knows this, and while you may have forgotten this over the years, there's no time like the present to remember this.
